SAN DIEGO, CA – October 28, 2008 –CSA Travel Protection (CSA), a company dedicated to providing value-driven travel insurance and emergency assistance services, announces its new and insured Security Deposit Protection plan for vacation rental property managers and guests is now available in Florida, as well as Hawaii and New York.
Launched in 13 states in July and building on its popular Vacation Rental Insurance plan, CSA’s Security Deposit Protection plan helps property managers simplify their business while offering guests up to $3,000 in accidental property damage coverage.
The Security Deposit Protection plan helps property managers reduce administration time due to refund checks and credit card charge-backs after checkout. In addition, guests have less incentive to avoid reporting accidental damage. The coverage for accidental damage is fully insured, underwritten by Stonebridge Casualty Insurance Company.
“Vacation rental managers often tell us security deposit protection is a valuable offer for their business and their guests,” said, Lee Hughes, CSA’s sales division vice president. “Available now in 29 states, we’re working closely with the remaining states to offer this coverage available nationwide.”
All of CSA’s vacation rental policies are designed to protect both the traveler and vacation rental owner. The company’s
Vacation Rental Insurance Plan, which covers guests door to door – from the day after a guest buys a policy right up until they return home – is especially helpful now during this trying hurricane season. And CSA’s Security Deposit Protection adds value to a vacation rental company’s bottom line every time it protects a renter.
The Security Deposit Protection plan is now available in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming, with approval pending in additional states.
