Daiquiri Dick is back yet again with another Summer Sizzle menu which tantalized your taste palette. What does anybody want during the summers? For the summer Daiquiri Dick has begun a Summer Sizzle menu which will last till August. Every week a new menu greets all of us Vallartans and we can enjoy enticing flavors of the world right here in Puerto Vallarta. Previously Daiquiri Dick featured Bar-be-que especially for the 4^th of July. Last week, Daiquiri Dick featured the tempting cuisine of Asia. The traditional taste of the Far East beckoned all those food lovers who enjoy food and are willing to try out different cuisines. This Sizzle Menu begun on the 8^th of July and lasted till the 13^th of July. Some times the time goes by so fast that people are not even able to enjoy the range of different cuisines but for all those who were lucky enough to “catch the train,” these people rave about the food for days. What can I say? I am one of them!

According to tradition, Daiquiri Dick offered a three course menu with a range of different choices. An individual could choose his preferred appetizer, entrée and dessert and all for the price of $299 pesos per person. For starters this time, Daiquiri Dick had fabulous Vietnamese Soft Spring Rolls with tasteful shrimp, rice noodles and mint with peanut-plum sauce. Another choice was Steamed Pork and Shrimp Shumai (Dumplings) and the last but extremely appetizing was Korean Style Mussels with garlic sauce, sambal, tofu and scallions.

The Entrées were mind blowing as well. The first choice for the main course was a juicy Wok Sautéed Chicken Breast in the style of "Bul Go Gi" with steamed rice and kimchi. Another wonderful choice which had a range of different flavors was Tamarind Glazed Flank Steak with mango sauce and jicama. The last choice was Sweet and Sour Pork with pineapple, cucumber and onion over rice.

The desserts tend to be my favorite part of the meal, because after enjoying a hefty delicious meal, I love to delve into scrumptious sweets. For desserts there was Tempura Bananas with coconut gelato. Another great choice available was the Coconut Rice Pudding with fresh mango which just absolutely melted into your mouth. In addition to this, tasteful, new, house wine was also present for all the customers. The ambiance that Daiquiri Dick has created for its customers is worth seeing because; a person tends to forget his or her worries and troubles in the midst of tantalizing flavors and aromas.
